Upcoming Workshops and Conferences on HIV Drug Resistance, HIV and Hepatitis Coinfection, New Drugs for Hepatitis C, and Hepatology

Several upcoming workshops will look at specific aspects of HIV and hepatitis that are of growing concern, including HIV and hepatitis coinfection, HIV drug resistance, and development of new agents to treat hepatitis C virus (HCV). Two workshops -- covering HIV in children and HIV transmission -- will precede the 5th International AIDS Society Conference on HIV Pathogenesis, Treatment and Prevention this summer in South Africa.
